This visa is a point based visa for skilled workers who are nominated by state or territory government agency. This visa allows you to live and work permanently in Australia.
Eligibility for Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)
This visa is assessed on a point basis and to be eligible for this visa you:
- score at least 65 points in point test
- must be nominated by state or territory government agency for the nominated occupation
- have your nominated occupation in Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) or Short Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL)
- have a positive skill assessment in your nominated occupation from relevant assessing authority
- must be aged under 45 at the time of invitation to apply for visa
- must have competent English
- must meet health and character criteria

How to apply for Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)
First the applicant submits an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect online. When your EOI is accepted you will be invited to apply for Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190). Once you will get invitation you have to lodge visa application within 60 days from the date of invitation received.
