The Temporary Graduate Subclass 485 visa fee has increased from $2,300 to $4,600. The fee hike applies strictly to new applications lodged on or after 1 March 2026. If you successfully submitted your Subclass 485 application before this date, you do not need to pay any additional top-up fees.

To make it easy to calculate your new application costs, we have broken down the pricing into two simple tables based on the type of 485 visa you are applying for.
This applies to the vast majority of international graduates applying for their first 485 visa.
| Applicant Type | New Fee: (From 1 March 2026) | Previous Fee (Before 1 March 2026) | Fee for Exempt Countries – Eligible Passport |
| Primary Applicant | $4,600 | $2,300 | $2,300 |
| Additional Adult (18+) | $2,300 | $1,150 | $1,150 |
| Additional Child (Under 18) | $1,160 | $580 | $580 |
This applies to those eligible for a second Temporary Graduate visa (e.g., regional graduates).
| Applicant Type | New Fee: (From 1 March 2026) | Previous Fee (Before 1 March 2026) | Fee for Exempt Countries – Eligible Passport |
