Victoria’s Skilled Migration Program 2025–26 Now Open

Victoria has officially opened its 2025–26 Skilled Migration Program, welcoming applications from both onshore and offshore candidates.

Interim Allocation Announced

For the start of the program year, the Department of Home Affairs has given Victoria a small interim allocation:

  • 200 places for the Skilled Nominated visa (Subclass 190)
  • 180 places for the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (Subclass 491)

The full program allocation is expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

What You Need to Know

  • Active ROIs (Registration of Interest) submitted previously will remain valid for the 2025–26 program.
  • You only need to submit a new ROI if your details have changed since your last submission.
